HAPPENING NOW AND WE NEED YOUR HELP: around 25 dogs in the scorching desert heat, living on a junk yard, multiplying like a wildfire. Let’s have them spayed/neutered and supply them with water and food - ASAP!

40 strays fed and sheltered by one kind women. But none of the dogs were spayed or neutered. Our sweepstakes fundraiser funded the efforts of Pups without Borders to get more than 20 dogs spayed & neutered, and we're still counting!

We are looking for a rescue organization or adopters for 4 of the dogs! Deb got a call. Fifteen dogs were dumped in a visionally impaired elderly lady’s yard in Lucerne Valley. 10 had already died, the others were hungry. When in Barstow for another project, we went to see if there was anything we could do. We ended up taking the dogs and had them spayed & neutered at the local vet. The dogs are now safely with a foster.

[This project is a wrap!] In 2023, 3.2 million dogs entered the shelters in the US, 360.000 dogs were euthanized >> we killed THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THOUSAND dogs. Together with our SPAY-partners Pups without Borders, Love Dog Rescue & Foundation and SNIP we were able to host 2 days of spay and neuter services in Bakersfield. A total of 68 dogs got spayed/neutered!
