25 dogs in the junk yard in Lucerne Valley

When we received a call about 5 dogs in need in Lucerne Valley - a small desert town between Los Angeles and Las Vegas — we ran into a much larger crisis. Nextdoor, 25-30 dogs are struggling in a junkyard under the scorching desert sun. The unhoused man who lives at the junkyard had hoped to make some cash by selling puppies, but WHO NEEDS MORE PUPPIES?? Now, those puppies have grown up and had litters of their own. These dogs, not spayed and not neutered, are multiplying rapidly, with females already pregnant or with nursing puppies. With no access to clean water, insufficient food, and fights breaking out over resources, their situation is becoming increasingly desperate.

We are committed to put an end to the cycle of suffering, but this is a big project and we need your help. A plan is in place but we need to meet our fundraising goals to start this project off! Your donation will go directly towards spaying and neutering the dogs, providing them with food, water, and medical care.

Please support our efforts , donate today.
